3 Pak cricketers to join squad in Eng after testing -ve for COVID-19

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan cricketers Haider Ali, Imran Khan and Kashif Bhatti are set to join their squad in England after testing negative for coronavirus on July 1 and 4.

They were among the ten Pakistan players who had tested positive for the virus last month.

Out of these ten, six have already joined the Pakistan squad after recovering.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that the players who tested positive for the virus are Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, Haider Ali. Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hasnain, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz and Imran Khan.

The Pakistan squad is currently training in Worcester ahead of the three-match Test series against England, which begins in Manchester on August 5.

Abid Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Shan Masood, Azhar Ali (captain), Babar Azam (Test vice-captain and T20I captain), Asad Shafiq, Fawad Alam, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmad, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk), Faheem Ashraf, Haris Rauf, Imran Khan, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Hasnain, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sohail Khan, Usman Shinwari, Wahab Riaz, Imad Wasim, Kashif Bhatti, Shadab Khan and Yasir Shah.
