4 Pregnant Women Test COVID-19 Positive In Batala, Punjab's Case Tally Rises To 2,009

BATALA, MAY 21: Four pregnant women have tested positive for novel coronavirus or COVID-19 in Gurdaspur district on Thursday.

The latest development has taken Punjab’s case tally to 2,009.

The women tested COVID-19 positive in Batala, taking Gurdaspur district’s case tally to 129.

On Wednesday, another 152 COVID-19 patients were discharged by the state health authorities. With this, the total number of people who have been cured of the infection had reached 1,794 in the state.

Meanwhile, three new coronavirus cases were reported in the state.
