BATHINDA: In a rare honour, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) Bathinda, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu will attend online celebrations to mark the 551st Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji along with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Canadian Ministers on Monday.
Justin Trudeau will be the chief guest on the 551st Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and on this occasion MRSPTU Vice-Chancellor, renowned academician and researcher, Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu has been specially invited by the Government of Canada.
Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, Canada, Honourable Bardish Chagger, Minister of Diversity and Inclusion and Youth, Canada, Honourable Harjit Sajjan, Minister of National Defence and Sikh Liberal Caucus, Canada and Canadian, Member Parliament, Sukh Dhaliwal have invited Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu on behalf of the Government of Canada, to a virtual gathering in celebration of Gurpurab.
It will be held online on Monday between 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM PST.
Prof. Sidhu said that it would be a great opportunity to be a part of this online historic event to mark the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Meanwhile, Prof. Sidhu also greeted people on the 551st birth anniversary of Sikhism founder Guru Nanak Dev Ji. “Tomorrow, on the very special occasion of the Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, my greetings to everyone. We should take inspirations from life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji,” he said.
