A woman in India has given birth to a baby girl with four legs and three hands.
Doctors believe the child has initially been part of a set of triplets and two of which became conjoined during the pregnancy.
On Sep 20, Mother Raju Gurjar, (24) gave birth to the twins in a government-run hospital in Tonk in Rajasthan.
Raju and her husband, Badhulal Gurjar, are both labourers, were expecting their first child.

The little girl was born with an extra set of legs and hands, which covers her entire chest and abdomen, while her twin baby boy is entirely healthy.

In rare cases, twins or triplets fail to form adequately and separately, partially merging.
Such cases result in either conjoined twins or babies with extra limbs being born.
Raju never underwent an ultrasound during the pregnancy and didn’t know that she was carrying twins.
Doctors believe that the extra limbs can be removed through surgery.

The surgeon, who delivered the babies, Dr Rohitesh Meena, said: ‘Raju gave birth naturally to the twins at around 2:46 am.
As per doctors, the male child is normal, and both the mother and the male child are stable.

‘We will refer the baby girl to an advanced hospital in Jaipur for further treatment and paediatric surgery, “said Dr Rohitesh.
In spite of the abnormal condition, the girl is stable and currently has only minor breathing problems.
Doctors believe that this could be the first case where the mother could have been expecting triplets, but one pair is conjoined.
