Coronavirus Pandemic: Gippy Grewal Calls Off ‘Maa’ Shoot

JALANDHAR: By postponing the release of his production ‘Posti’, Gippy Grewal became the first filmmakers to announce a hold on his production amid the Coronavirus outbreak.

In a video on his Instagram, Gippy announced that his production ‘Posti’ is being postponed until further notice.

On the other hand, the shoot of Gippy Grewal’s other Punjabi movie ‘Maa’ was still going on. However, now the same has been called off too.

Due to Coronavirus pandemic, a hold has been put on the shooting of ‘Maa’.

Starring Gippy Grewal, Babbal Rai, Aarushi Sharma, Divya Dutta, Rana Ranbir and more, the movie has been scheduled to be released on 8 May, i.e. Mother’s Day.

Since the movie’s shoot has been called off until further notice, we wonder if the makers will reschedule the release too.

Meanwhile, other movies affected due to Coronavirus pandemic in Pollywood are ‘Defaulter’ and ‘Main Viah Ni Karona Tere Naal’.
