NEW DELHI: The number of coronavirus cases in India has reached 75,50,273 as 55,722 people tested positive in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The coronavirus death toll in the country has risen to 1,14,610, while 66,63,608 coronavirus patients have been discharged.
Out of the total cases, 7,72,055 are active.
Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state by COVID-19 in the country. While 13,69,810 patients have recovered from the disease in the state, 42,115 have died so far.
