NEW DELHI: The number of coronavirus cases in India has reached 74,32,680 as 62,212 people tested positive in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The coronavirus death toll in the country has risen to 1,12,998, while 65,24,595 coronavirus patients have been discharged.
Union Health Ministry on Saturday announced that the country has reached an unprecedented peak as active cases drop below the 8 lakh mark for the first time in 1.5 months.

Out of the total cases, 7,95,087 are active cases.
