The ‘flying Sikh’, Milkha Singh, who was born in village Govindpura (now in Punjab, Pakistan) turns 90 today.
Actor Farhan Akhtar essayed the former Commonwealth Games and Asian Games athlete in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s 2013 biopic titled Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
Farhan took to Instagram and shared a black and white throwback picture of the ‘Flying Sikh’ in his post.
Farhan Akhtar wrote: “Happy birthday to the ‘Flying Sikh’ .. love you Milkha-ji. Wish you good health and happiness always.”
On Farhan’s post, Milkha received several birthday wishes.
