For 3rd Time in a Row: Arvind Kejriwal to take oath as Delhi CM on Feb 16

NEW DELHI: Arvind Kejriwal will take oath as the Delhi Chief Minister consecutively for the third time on February 16.

Kejriwal led the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to a stupendous victory yet again in Assembly poll 2020.

As per reports, the oath-taking ceremony will be held at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan.

Ahead of the oath, as per procedure, Kejriwal is also likely to give his resignation to pave the way for his fresh swearing-in as Delhi’s Chief Minister.

The AAP defeated BJP and Congress in the Delhi Assembly election by winning 62 out of 70 seats.

After which, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his twitter handle to congratulated Arvind Kejriwal for his party’s win.

Within a few minutes of PM Modi’s tweet, Arvind Kejriwal thanked him and said: “I look forward to working closely wid Centre to make our capital city into a truly world-class city.”

Kejriwal had earlier taken oath as Delhi Chief Minister in 2013 and 2015.
