SANGRUR: In a new turn in Sidhu Moosewala’s controversial case, a local court on Wednesday granted interim bail to four cops and another man facing an FIR under Arms Act along with the Punjabi Singer.
As the court announced June 9 as next date of hearing, it also directed the five accused to join police investigations.

Advocate Sumir Fatta, who is the counsel of all four cops said, “Court has granted interim bail to Constables Harwinder Singh and Jasveer Singh, Head constable Gurjinder Singh, and ASI Balkar Singh and directed them to join investigations.”
Apart from four, the court has also granted interim bail to shooting player Jungsher Singh.
Five Punjab police cops were booked by the Sangrur and Barnala police for taking Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala to Badbar police firing range in Barnala district and allowing him to use an AK-47 automatic weapon to fire a few shots after allowing him to use his personal 9mm pistol at the Ladda Kothi firing range in Sangrur.
A video of the incident had gone viral on social media and three ASIs were among six cops suspended.
