GPTV VIRAL DESK: A factory in China is being slammed for holding a kissing contest to celebrate its reopening.
The participants, who were invited to kiss, were separated by a plexiglass, according to 7 News.
The kissing contest has sparked outrage on the internet. While many criticized the Chinese factory for being reckless with social distancing in the times of coronavirus pandemic.
According to reports, the furniture factory named ‘Yueya’ in the city of Suzhou invited 10 couples to participate in the contest.
In the photos and videos being widely circulated online, factory employees are seen lowering their protective face masks to kiss through a clear pane of glass.
