Prez All India Pingalwara Charitable Society honored in Victorian Parliament

MELBOURNE: Dr Inderjit Kaur, the Patron-Prez of All India Pingalwara Charitable Society (Regd.), Amritsar since 1992, has been honoured in Victorian Parliament.

Dr Inderjit Kaur, who is on his Australia visit tour, giving talks at a number of Melbourne Sikh Gurdwaras, was invited to the parliament by Victorian Environment and Climate Change Minister Lily D’Ambrosio.

Where, in a ceremony, Dr Inderjit Kaur also met federal Labor MP, Rob Mitchell.

Taken away from she is doing for the people in need around the world, Rob Mitchell praised Dr Inderjit Kaur’s humanitarian work and grassroots efforts to promote the rights of minorities and communal harmony in India.

Later, Rob Mitchell, the Australian Labour party Member of Parliament honoured Dr Inderjit Kaur in his office. Also, Rob honoured Kaur by giving her Australian flag as a token of appreciation.

Sharing a picture with Dr Inderjit Kaur on social media, the Australian politician wrote:

“Today I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Dr Inderjeet Kaur.

What a fantastic experience, learning about her extraordinary humanitarian work and grassroots efforts to promote the rights of minorities and communal harmony in India.

Thank you, Dr Kaur, for taking the time to meet with me today and share with me the incredibly important work you are doing to help so many.”
