Punjab truck driver Harminder Dhaliwal killed in Washington state accident

WASHINGTON:  In Washington State, the Tri-City Herold in Kennewick reports a 36-year-old Punjabi truck driver was killed in a single-vehicle rollover just after midnight Sunday.

Harminder Singh Dhaliwal was driving east on HWY 14 – a rural 2 lane highway in southern Benton County according to the report – when he drifted onto the shoulder, overcorrected sending the cab & trailer on its side.

A witness called 911 and Washington State Patrol investigators tell the media outlet Dhaliawl was not wearing a seat-belt, was thrown from the cab and died at the scene. Blood tests are being conducted.
