AMRITSAR: Fresh test reports of Punjab’s first reported coronavirus patient came out to be negative on Thursday.
Italy returned positive patient of Coronavirus in Amritsar is expected to be discharged from the hospital.
Gurdip Singh tested positive for the disease earlier this month and was admitted at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital.
Amritsar Civil Surgeon Dr Prabhdeep Kaur Johal said the patient, who earlier had tested positive, has shown significant improvement in his health.
Adding further Johal said that it was the first patient in Punjab who recovered and his test came negative.
Confirming the development, Deputy Commissioner Shivdular Singh Dhillon said the patient would be discharged soon. This is very good news for all of us.
