Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Ramayan’ today returned to Doordarshan as coronavirus lockdown has stalled the shoots of several television shows.
Because of the TV shows being stalled, the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar on Friday said that on public demand, the Ministry is going to re-telecast Ramanand Sagar’s TV serial ‘Ramayan’.
“Happy to announce that on public demand, we are starting re-telecast of Ramayan from tomorrow, Saturday March 28 on DD National. One episode in morning 9 am to 10 am, another in the evening 9 pm to 10 pm”, Prakash Javadekar wrote in his tweet.
As the ‘Ramayan’ went on air today at 9 AM in the morning, Twitter users celebrated this by trending #Ramayan on the microblogging site.
