Three More Test Positive for Coronavirus in Jalandhar; State Toll Reaches 26

JALANDHAR: Three more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Virk village in Jalandhar district of Punjab.

As per reports, the three new patients contracted the disease from Baldev Singh,  the man from Pathlawa in Banga who had died after being affected with the virus.

Virk village has been sealed and sanitising is being carried out.

Until now, 18 people have been affected due to coming in contact with the 70-years-old Baldev Singh.

With this Punjab’s total positive count has reached 26.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Balbir Sidhu said Punjab has been on its toes ever to break the chain of transmission since the spread of COVID-19.
