Trump’s first official trip to India will be headlined by the “Kem Cho, Trump” event in Ahmedabad.
Scheduled to be held at the newly inaugurated Motera stadium in the city, the event is billed as a repetition of the “Howdy Modi” show that took place in Houston, Texas, during the Indian leader’s US visit in September last year, when Modi and Trump addressed a 50,000-strong Indian audience.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium which is also known as Motera Cricket stadium is set to become the largest cricket stadium in the world. Being built at an estimated cost of $100 million, the cricket facility will have a seating capacity of 1,10,000 people.
As per reports, Trump also stated that he has been promised a crowd of five to seven million people in attendance watching him make way from the airport to the ground.
